Default PMI process groups with MS Project

Hello,
I would like to ask you, if there is some kind of material, which represents how can Microsoft Project deal with PMI Process Groups (Project Management Institute).

There are 5 Process groups (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling and closing) and 10 Knowledge Areas, like Integration management, scope management, time management etc..

The thing is, that i would like to find (or create within my school) document which would explain how can Microsoft Office handle each of the process group. For example Risk Management – MS Project is able to create PERT analysis, graphs, Gantt Diagrams etc.. or within cost management there is tool for budget, also can manage resources etc..

I could not find any document which is focused on MS Project (also server/sharepoint) in matter of PMI Process Groups

Also, i am sorry for my bad english, it's not my native languge, tried my best.

Thanks.

I don't know of any publicly available information. Project does not really come into play in Initiation. However it certainly has its role in Planning, Executing, Monitor & Control.

Are you familiar with Project?

Actually, the thing i am looking for is something like this: http://www.mpug.com/wp-content/uploa...e-Projects.pdf

But, like more detailed, maybe with reviews how good MS Project with each task is etc..

Or guides how actually manage these areas with MS Project.

I doubt you'll find that level of detail for free. Have you considered taking a class in MS Project?
