Default New project

Hello everyone
I try use Microsoft project and I start check how it's works.
I make very simple project few tasks for one person, every time I have similar problem that. Resource/ worker have only planned one task in day even duration is 6hours and working day is 8. Otherwise resource have ex. 14 hours of work for day. Standrd day is from monday to friday from 7am to 3pm

For me the most important think is auto planning based on priority, duration time and deadline. Only if priority another task is bigger than deadline for task with lower priority should be moved
In the end I want make work plan for 5 people

1. It is possible to do in MProject ?

2. I inlcude in attachement example of file. Can somebody help me and make usefull schedulded from this file ?

With the exception of task 6 - your tasks are manually scheduled without duration, start or finish. You have a task calendar assigned to each task - versus setting up the project calendar to the correct schedule. Because your tasks have not schedule the 'worker' resource is not overallocated.

Change your tasks to autoschedule - remove the task calendar. Set the priority and level using priority, standard.

I try make new plan with autoscheduled and fill duration time but everthing is planned on one day. Ther isn't overload for worker1. Task 2 should start 22.02.16 13:00 and end in 23.02.16

If there is a relationship between tasks (I can't start task 2 until task 1 is complete) then link them. I opened your schedule - it is apparently linked to another schedule which you didn't include.

The tasks are still all manually scheduled.

Regarding the above - all of the subtasks are manually scheduled. Do no assign the resource to the summary task - he/she should be assigned to each meeting.

Have you leveled the resource? Do the tasks need to be linked?

No tasks don't have to be linked (mayby sometimes) ( for planning small group of people it is very easy to use dead time and priority, task with higer priority should be planned first, to this time I make it manually in excel but now it is to big)

No I have not leveled resources, have I make it ? How I can make it

Project will schedule autoscheduled task to start on the start date of the Project. If you need links - add them. If you have resources who are overallocated and want to use priority click Resources tab, set the leveling options, and then level the resources.

I also suggest taking a good course on Microsoft Project. It has a fair amount of complexity and getting someone who know the product well to walk you through the processes of building a schedule will save you hours of frustration.
