Default Role of person

In my project plan, 4 persons are involved. For assessment purpose, I want to know the percentage / weightage of work individually. Is there any option in MS project? Please assist me.

regards,

Arif

The Resource Usage view will show you the number of hours an individual resource is scheduled to work. In a resource view, add a custom field and divide the resource's work by total project work.

Thanks for your reply Ms. Julie.

But I made a mistake at the time of Gantt generation. Actually I inserted a column of text1 field and mentioned project team name in that column.

Can I get the required percentage of person's work in this scenario??

Regards,
Arif

Do you have more than one team applied to a single task? If yes, than you cannot group by the individual team because that is only available in an assignment (usage) view.

If you have more than one team in the Text field, you're going to need to go the route of resources and full assignments.

I'd use the Group field in the Resource Sheet view and assign your 4 resources to the groups and make the assignments.

In order to get assignment information (like how much work a resource is performing) you need to create the assignments.

It is my routine working to assign project team, but my Assistant made this mistake. Now it should have been mapped in resource sheet for work convenience.

Thanks alot for your kind favor.

Arif
