Splitting a task which have sub tasks

Hi,

There's a task which have 1 sub-task; there's no data for the duration of sub-task. but it's definite that the TASK itself is split. I can't show the split in gantt chart.

In the image attached, I want to have the graphical shape of the picture above (1), while "B" is a sub-task of "A". but what I got is the one in the bottom (2).
