I am using Project 2010 to convert some project tasks and milestones from PowerPoint to a Gantt chart.
I need to be able to print it and display similar information as I present in PowerPoint, but the problem is I can't figure out how to get both Task Name and Resource on the bars of the Gantt chart. Using the text tab from bar styles, I can set the right text to 'Resource Names', and the bottom text to 'Names', but only the resource name is displayed. I'm not sure why I can only get one item to display. Setting the bottom text to 'Name' pushes the bars apart, so I know that space is being created for the text - I have even tried changing the color of the text to see if that helps, but for some reason it will not display at the bottom. If I remove the bottom text and change the right text to a different value, nothing updates. I can't figure out if there's something I should do to refresh the view. Interestingly I can change these values on individual bars with no problem, but I want to change them globally. Any ideas? |
