Default Certain Resources Not Leveling

I have 21 resources and three of them simply won't level. Project has them all starting on the project start date with no modification and I can't seem to level them. They are set to auto scheduled.

Any thoughts on what I can do to make project level these resources?

Is Project giving you any sort of message? If you have resources assigned at above their max units - Project cannot fix the overallocation. If you have selected the option "Level only within available slack" it cannot delay tasks on the critical path.

I'm also not sure I follow when you say "Project has them all staring on the project start date with no modification .......they are set to auto scheduled."

This sounds more like tasks - not resources.
