Built In Filters - DISAPPEARED
Hi all, I'm in a bit of a bind! I have been working on a project plan for some time now but yesterday when I wanted to filter out completed tasks or use the date range filter I noticed that all the built in filters had disappeared. The drop-down menu is essentially empty. What have I done wrong? Can someone help ASAP please. Thanks |

Hi Barry,
Sorry for the delay. It's actually fairly hard to delete the filters. When you say the filters are "essentially empty" can you tell me which filters are left? You may be able to restore the filters from Global.mpt. Choose File > Info and click Organize Global Template. Click the Filters tab. Click the Incomplete Tasks filter in the list on the left and click the Copy button to copy it back to your project. Test and see if that works. |

Thanks again Julie
I ended up restoring a previous version of the file. It was rather strange. The 'Built In' filter list was empty - all the standard filters had been removed. I hadn't changed any setting so I'm really unsure how this happened. If it does happened again I can try restoring from the Global Template. Thanks again |

My guess is likely a hiccup in the file. As long as you didn't lose any work by restoring the file, great.
