We have a Sharepoint Foundation 2013 site for collaborating when working in a project. With MS Project Professional 2013, i can Syn to SharePoint or Open with project from SharePoint task list. Can i do the same thing with Project 2010? We have alot of user who don't have Project 2013 in their computer. Thank in advanced for any replies.

I believe you need to match versions - Project 2013 with SharePoint 2013 and Project 2010 with SharePoint 2010. You'll also need the Professional version of Project.

You can always store Project files in a SharePoint library - but syncing requires the match.

How about New from Sharepoint Task list in Project 2010? It will not work with SharePoint 2013?
I ideal is PM will use Project 2013 for syncing to task list, and member can open schedule form MS Project for their purpose.

I just tested using Project 2010 and attempting to connect to a SharePoint 2013 SharePoint installation. The "new from SharePoint" did not work.

I suggest creating templates for your users that can be used by 2010 and 2013 Project Users.
