Not a huge fan of timeline view in Project 2010...not enough flexibility for formatting. The reason I created another Gantt chart view is so I can have one view with bar styles, font etc. preferrable for pictures in powerpoint presentations, and one view with different styles preferrable for print-outs.
Have you been able to replicate the issue, by creating another Gantt chart view in a new project? ...just using the basic settings: single view, Gantt chart, Entry table, no groups, all tasks? |

I created a new table and removed all fields except the ID column. I then shrunk the ID column to zero. I then dragged the Gantt chart image as far left as I could. Below is what I see:

Yes, but I actually want 2 different Gantt chart views of 1 table for the reasons below... I don't want to have to reformat the Gantt chart everytime I need to output one for a different purpose.
Ignore the fact that I have column widths set to 0. The inability to center the footer in a new view doesn't seem to matter whether I have column widths set to 0 or not. |
