How to remove slack from detailed gantt

How do I remove slack number from the detailed gantt? I know I can change the "salck" item to any other say "ID". But do not know what to use so that horizontal line and slack sizes are removed. Thanks.

Remove the Slack bar from the Bar Styles dialog box. Right click in the Gantt chart area and chose Bar Styles from the dialog. Find the bar style and delete it.

I also managed it in the following way.

1. Go to format
2. Check box for Critical Tasks
3. Uncheck box for Slack

Sorry. My mistake. I though you wanted to remove the bar completely, not just turn it off.
