Default Planned Against Actual MSP 2010

Is there any where I can show how many working days was planned within a period, say a month from the baseline, and show how many was actually completed from the percentage complete a month later on a update.

For example on the 01/02 can I show I had planned 100 man days work in the month, and come the 01/03 when the next update is completed and when the percentages are updated we have only achieved 75 man days work.

If this is possible can I split these into critical activities and non.

In the Task Usage view, add Baseline work and Actual Work to the timescaled (right hand side) portion of the view. Zoom out to months. This will show you per month the planned work (Baseline) and the Actual Work.

Does this show you what you need?

At the moment both the actual worked and the baseline worked is 0 for all the activities. Where do these columns get there information from ?

The baseline data is populated when you save a baseline. (Project Ribbon - set baseline). The Actuals are populated when you supply Actual Work (tracking table).

I'm guessing you are using Project in a different manner?

I have to copy and paste the baseline in from the relvant programme into the current updated programmes a the minute (the baseline has come from a non accepted/issued programme),I know this isn't the greatest way.

I'm not sure if you are copying and pasting that the timescaled data is getting created.
