Folks,
Thanks in advance for looking at this. I opened project today (2010) and discovered that all toolbars and menus were gone. All I can see is Gantt and Timeline.. nothing above timeline is visible, just an empty bar. I've clicked everywhere.. but so far no luck. Have I done something simple that caused this.. is there a fix? Thanks again Mike |

Sounds as if you have minimised the ribbon somewhere along the line.
If you go up to the top tabs (file, view, etc) and hover over one of them (so it appears raised or highlighted then right click, you should get a menu up that at the bottom has "minimise the ribbon"with a tick next to it. Click on it to untick, and the ribbon should be back. |

In addition to Guloluseus's answer, you may also use CTL+F1 to expand the collapsed ribbons.
