Default entering duration in months

Hello

I changed the duration entry type to months. from options field

The start date for all is january 1 for now.

for an activity that i enter 5 months, it shows a finish date of May 20

for an activity that I enter 8 months duration, it shows finish date as august 12. why is that and how can i change it to show to the end of may and august? because may 20 and august 12 is less than 5 or 8 months

to solve this problem i changed the calendar to 7 day calendar and then i changed the number of workdays in a month from 20 default value to 30 days. this corrcted the problem to a great deal however there is still little error, because of the months that have 31 days. how can i completely solve this probelm? the longer the task, the more number of 31 day months come into calculation and bigger the error

You can't. You can only define "month" once in File > Options, Schedule just as you can only define "day" and "week" once. The problem is as you noted that some months have more days than others.

I suggest not using Month as a duration measure - use weeks or days.
