Angry How to get ride of the '0h'

How do you remove and prevent ‘0h’ being added before and after effort in the Resource and Task Usage views? This seems to be throwing off my start dates. Seems the start date and finish dates at times are based off the ‘0h’ rather than the actual effort.

So my task or resource usage looks like this (0h 0h 0h 0h 0h 0h 0h 36 36 36 36 0h 0h 0h 0h)

I tried to highlight it and delete it but it shifts the effort and at time adds more 0h.

Have you tried putting in a start date to match where the resource starts? You need to look at the start date for the resource assigned to the task.

It sounds like you have either leveled a resource, leaving other resources to start when assigned - or have a actual start date recorded but no work recorded for the first several days.
