I first exported data to excel from primavera.
Then i am trying to import that to MS project now. I went through the necessary steps of import wizard and everything went well, see picture 2 , 4, 5. I even got to the congratulations screen But then in the end I got an error message as in picture 6. And the process stopped there. What is wrong and how to fix? |

Did you check your legacy format settings? File > Options, Trust Center, Legacy formats - select "Allow loading" options

Skirting the main question slightly, but why did yo uexport as an excel file? Assuming you are using P6 8.1 or later, a straight convert to an MPP file would give a straight programme. I have found problems with conversions (MSP2007 especially did not like importing from P6, and P6 v8.3 seems to have a hatred of exporting to MSP07) but P6 8.2 and MSP2010 seem to get on well. This would circumvent the problem (hopefully) and give you the required end result.
