The dashboard and reports are part of the Global.mpt file which is loaded automatically when you start Project.

Why are you trying to remove them?

It will confuse the people who will be receving the reports. The data will differ from another dashboard that is being used

You can create the report and then remove all the items (tables, charts, etc). I don't know what you mean when you say everything returns. Have you deleted the individual items?

As noted, the reports come from the Global.mpt file and are loaded automatically. In your DVS Project Status DRAFT document, Run the Project Overview report. When the report appears, select all the elements (CTRL + A), then press delete to remove all the elements. Save the file. The report will still show in the Dashboard list, but it will contain no data.
