Default generating visual reports

I had this issue when i had my 2007 version and now I have 2010, i see that it is still there, which may be an IT type of problem but first like to9 check here.

on my project i want to generate a visual cumulative spending report.

i go to visual reports, click task usage, and see that there is a cash flow report there, which is the thing i want to see. so i click view. the program says that this opration needs excel 2003 or later to be installed on my machine, which is here. but no report comes up.

so I am doing the correct way and it is a technical problemn right?

i can still generate my reports by the way... i do it by going to task usage view and taking dates and cumulative costs from there and paste into excel and generate it in excel myself. that is no problem.

What version of Excel do you have installed? What version of Project? If you are still using 2007 see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2596579
