I run a conference services Department at work, which means I book conference rooms. I use the Outlook calendar to book the rooms. He now wants to be able to export all the calender info into MS Project, so we can print out reports. Is this possible?

No, sorry. You may export task data directly into Project - but calendars in Outlook are not equal to tasks in Project.

Can I assign each calendar entry as a task and export that to MS Project.

Yes. On the Task Ribbon, Task drop down is an option "Import Outlook Tasks". However, before you go to this trouble, get information from your boss about what kind of "reports" he wants. Then you'll need to discover if going through all that trouble is worth it. Project 2010 doesn't have a great list of reports to begin with.
