how to zoom in the columns area
how can we zoom in the column area? when i hit zoom or use the + - buttons at the bottom right corner, it is zooming in the bar area.
sometimes it is hard to read the text at the column area. but i dont want to make them bigger by increasing the fonts, this affects my print area negatively. i just want to zoom in the columns area as it is, so that we can see it better. how to do this? i had not seen it in MS Project 2007. Now I got my MS Project 2010, I still dont see this feature |

If I understand the question correctly, I address that by a combination of View>Timescale>desired period and tuning the header in the dialog box that pops up when I right click on the header and choose "Timescale..."

The OP is trying to zoom the left side (table side) of the view. The Gantt chart (right side) can certainly be zoomed in using the method you describe - but it has no effect on the table side.

No, the product is the same in that respect. Only timescaled portions of a view can be zoomed in or out.
I suggest creating views with larger fonts and creating other views for printing. |
