For basic summary tasks (of which I have multiple) I have no problem utilizing rollup tasks and formatting the bar styles using flags to delineate between them visually as I see fit.
It would be extremely helpful to rollup all my my summary tasks into the project summary task in order to see an overall timeline of events. This would allow me to work at my overall workflow on multiple concurrent but not directly related tasks. Can anyone assist me with this? I am using MS Project 2013, thank you for any assistance provided! |

The bar style for rolled up tasks excludes Summary tasks. Try creating a new bar style without the "No Summary" criteria. You may also find the Timeline View helpful for selectively showing tasks on a timeline.
