Default Modified work cycle

Hello,

I am working in the construction industry were we work on modified cycles like 8 days on and 6 days off etc. How does MS Project consider these cycles when it calculates the duration of a project?

For example:
A project is estimated with 9 consecutive working days which would be 15 days in total (8 days on, 6 days off and another 1 day from the next cycle).

Is there any way so I see the actual working days in a GANTT chart?

Thanks for your help.
