Default Assigning Resources and percent complete

Hello, I need help please! Ok I have 2 task that I am assigning 1 resource to. Task 1 is 80% of the resource and Task 2 is 20% of the resource. Ok here is my issue....for an example Task 1 is 100% complete and Task 2 is 0%. So when I go to my resource page and look at %work complete it will say 50%. I guess it says 50% because 1 out of 2 task are complete. But in reality it should say 80% complete because Task 1 is 80% of the resource and it is complete. Is there a way to have it calculate the actual percent of the resource that is complete?? Let me know if you need additional information.

Try looking at Percent Work complete - not percent complete. The percent work complete should show you more accurate data.
