Mid-Task resource scheduled 0 hours increasing task duration needlessly
Why would MS Project create days for a single resource mid-task with 0 hours on the schedule. There are no other assignments, no predecessors affecting it, it is assigned to a single person and the project calendar and resource calendar do not reflect any time off.
