I'm not sure what is going on.

24 hours calendar set as the project calendar in Project Information.
Day defined as 12 hours
Week as 84
Default start time 7:00 am
Default end 7:00 pm?

All of that is correct.
Specficly were should I chech and insure the 12 hour day.
Yes, work day/shift is 7 am to 7pm. Should I tell it somewhere to tell it 7pm to 7am for the night shift?
Thanks

The setting is in Tools > Options. There is only one setting per project. After you create the links between your tasks, it will schedule them as needed. The default begin and end is just for tasks scheduled without predecessors and successors.

So, what is not working now?

When I put in 6 the activity bar does not go to 6 shifts.
It did yesterday, and I wrote done my steps, but I must have missed something, because I can't get to do it again.

There is a simple setting that I am not seeing. I will work on it tonight some more.

Thanks

Oops, did not answer your question.

When I enter a number representing shifts, it does not give me an accurate task bar.

3d should give me shifts or a day and half or 36 hours

I don't know what is going on. If the calendar is set to the 24Hours calendar in Project > Project Information that allows 24 hours per day in working time. If your definition of day is 12 hours, and you enter 3 days - you should see the task starting at 7:00 am and Finishing at 7:00 pm the next day. Is the date/time correct?
