Constructing a detailed Timeline
I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this, it's more a general office question. I need to show delay of documentation, so I know I need some sort of timeline, but within each activity (or each sector of a timeline) I would like to show posession of the documentation between two people. I'm not sure if there is an option in Project to do this or if i would be better constructing something elsewhere, say in excel and then constructing graphs etc... Plese help! |

Do you currently own Microsoft Project? If so, yes, Project can be used to detail tasks (possession and action expected on documentation) and resources (who has the documentation).
If you don't have Project currently - it may be a bit of expense you could avoid by using Excel to document the tasks. See: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...010238253.aspx for some guidance on create a Gantt chart (standard output in Project) in Excel. |
