Need totoal cost despite project being in progress
I'm trying to see the total cost, or more importantly the material cost, associated with each task. I have material and labor associated with my project. When my project had not started and had not progress, I could simply view the Cost field and get accurate information. Now that the project is in progress, if a task is started the Cost field only shows Remaining Cost. Realizing the formula for this field is Actual Cost + Remaining Cost, I don't populate the Actual Cost field as we capture that in or Earned Value tool, so the Cost field is no longer showing what I need. Is there any way to see the original total cost associated with this project? BTW, the baseline was not set initially so I can't revert back to the Baseline Cost field. |

I'm afraid I'm not following.
You are correct the Cost field = Remaining + Actuals. If you are not supply progress in Project (not recording Actuals) then doesn't the Cost = original cost? |
