Default Master Schedule and Multiple Resource Pools

Hello!

I am beginning to make a master schedule and share resources and dont want to do it incorrectly. The way I am doing this is to create an independant resource pool file (resource pool takes precedance) and share this with the individual subprojects. The subprojects are then inserted into a master project schedule which are linked. I can change the subprojects or the master and it is reflected on both. I only alter the resource pool on the resource file. Will I have trouble with this later? Is this setting myself up for file corruption?

You're actually doing an additional step that is unnecessary. After creating the resource pool file and connecting the share files, open the resource pool and when prompted, select the third option - "Open resource pool read-write and all other sharer files into a new master project file....."
