Default Exporting/printing MS Project File containing Gantt Chart to an Image

Dear all,
I would like to export MS project file into an image so I can insert it into my word document.
I would like to displays basic information, like task name, duration and gantt chart (the example of the file enclosed).
What I want to display is a template timeline for an activity, so it should not contain specifiic date, rather it displays day1, day2, etc.
I managed to do this by changing the label of the timeline.
But, when I try to export/print it, I could never get it right. The gantt chart display doesn't start from day1, it starts from d-15.
How can I print/export this file so it only displays the gantt chart from the start date to finish date. I use MS project 2010.

Best regards,

From the picture you've attached - you are using manually scheduled tasks. Consider converting the manually scheduled tasks to auto scheduled.

I'm also not sure why you are using "edays" in duration instead of days. Does your project truly get worked on 24 hours a day - 7 days per week?

Thanks for quick reply Julie.
I changed all tasks to be auto scheduled.
Actually, we just created a timeline for a process (in this case a procurement process), and that should not be date specific, it only shows how many days each task will take (it can start in any date).
Cheers..

I understand - but I do want to point out that by using Edays you are counting calendar days - including Weekends - so your overall duration from beginning to end is shorter than it really will be - assuming your resources won't work weekends.

OK.
Thanks and sorry for the late reply,
So, how can I make this gantt chart not date-specific and export it in the right format/layout ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry - I don't understand. You already have it 'not date-specific' by using the timescale format of D - what more do you need? What is the "right" format?

I mean, when I tried to print it, it doesn't print right (the layout).
The bar charts should occupy the whole area. Instead, they only occupy part of the areas.
(I tried to upload the image, but it seems that I need to have an url. I can't upload image directly from my computer )
Regards,

Check your settings in the Print command. Do you have things scaled? You may need to zoom in or out to try to fill the Gantt into the page. It is not, an exact science - just change the settings and check print preview.
