All,
I'm creating a notional MS Project that will be based on a future (unknown) start date - depends on when a contract is awarded. So for right now I'm populating everything based on the number of weeks each will take after the project is launched. My time scale across the top is in weeks: week 1, week 2, week 3, etc. Unfortunately MS Project still uses real dates/calendar for entering activities (unless there is another was to "turn off" the calendar and only use # of weeks out from the start of a fictional project?) What's happening now is that when I enter a Milestone, MS Project forces me to put in an actual calendar date and then (unfortunately) it displays that date next to the milestone (diamond). I want to TURN OFF the display of the date because the date is fictional/meaningless until the project actuall starts. How do I turn off the display of the date next to the milestone? Thanks in advance.... |
