Tracking multiple, duplicate projects
I work for a company that needs to track multiple projects simultaneously. The baseline tasks, sub-tasks, and timelines are identical for all of these projects. I'm having trouble figuring out how to have identical project structures copy onto one page to view simultaneously. Copying and pasting deletes the task/subtask structure, and I cannot insert our project template into another project more than once.
We currently do not have the client server enabled. Is there a way to have multiple projects visible on one file and gantt without setting each template up individually. Thanks. |

I don't understand why you cannot create a consolidated master file by inserting the project files?
Can you explain what you mean by "I cannot insert our project template into another project more than once." |

Basically the intent is to create one master file with six or seven projects being edited by multiple people at different times. My goal is to have those projects all start from the same baseline template. When I choose to insert the blank template project into a master project, the master project will not let me insert that same project template file more than once.

Create the project file based upon the template and then insert the individual project files (with different names) into the master project.
