Default Summary Report for Individual Task

I'd like to create a summary report (milestones, resources, costs) for an individual task for which there are no differentiating features. I cannot seem to find a report that just gives me one task. Is this possible?

I suggest setting up a table with the required fields (resource names, costs) and then filtering all other tasks out. You could add one of the spare flag fields (flag1) set the value in the flag field to "yes" and then filter on that field.

Default Still a bit confused

Thanks Julie, I've created a new column with "flag1" and set the desired task to "yes", but it doesn't seem I can filter a task report based on the flag I set. I have no problem filtering the task that I want flagged, but I don't know if that option exists when I'm trying to create a report. Any ideas?

Can you just print the view?

If you want to use one of the standard reports, you'll need to save the filter and apply the filter through the report definition. (click Edit in the Reports dialog).

I personally am more inclined to set up the table and view and just print that than try to get the report to look exactly as I need.

Hi
For any future reporting issues you could consider exporting the data to Excel and then filtering to achieve the report you want.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
Tony

Hi Tony,
Not sure why filtering in Excel is any better than filtering in Project. Is there something I'm missing?
