Is it possible to assign individual resources to groups, and then assign that group to tasks?

I'm thinking along the lines of assigning a number of resources to a committee, and then rather than selecting 8 people to assign to committee tasks, I just select the committee.

I don't want to just create a generic resource called 'Committee' b/c I want the resource usage of the individuals within the group to be accounted for...
