Assign resource groups to tasks
Hi there,
Is it possible to assign individual resources to groups, and then assign that group to tasks? I'm thinking along the lines of assigning a number of resources to a committee, and then rather than selecting 8 people to assign to committee tasks, I just select the committee. I don't want to just create a generic resource called 'Committee' b/c I want the resource usage of the individuals within the group to be accounted for... jjmclell |

I think I solved this...
Not technically possible to create a 'non-generic' group that accounts for resource usage for those assigned to the group, and that I can just assign to tasks. Instead, can use the group field in the resource sheet to label resources as belonging to a certain group; then use the filter in 'Assign Resources' and filter by group to get all members that are on the committee...
