Exclamation Push data automatically from Acess or Excel to create a Gantt chart in Project

Hi Everyone

I am new to MS Project. I am trying to use project to create gantt charts of a process that has already occured. I have my data in Access and I want to plot it in Project. Project doesnt support data to be sent form acesss, so i m pushing it to excel and then importing it to project.

Is there any way that i can automate this process and open project from Access?

Also, how do I change the default calender in project to 24hrs as some of my operations are outside of the 8am-5m calender ?

Any help on these topics would be greatly appreciated!!
