Current date vertical status line: How to turn off?
I have MS Project Professional 2010.
How do I go about turning off the vertical status line that depicts the current date? I primarily want to be able to turn it off when printing a hard-copy. Thanks! |

Right click in the Gantt chart, choose Gridlines. Select the current date line and set the line style to the top choice (none). The line will still show as a a faint dotted line -- but you'll remove the orange line.
As a workaround when printing, temporarily change the current date in Project Information, to a date before the project start date. Julie |

To remove the dotted line, repeat the same steps as above except choose "Project Start" from the Gridlines -> Line to Change
Same with "Project Finish |
