I have a very basic question and I thought I knew this but when I started to think about it, I realized I didnt, because it has been a while since I never used resources on my schedules and I forgot a little...
Lets say you have a task of paint walls. On a schedule that I didnt use any resources, I defined the "size" of this task by simply assiging it a duration. And thats it. But on a schedule that I use resources, how can I do that? If I assign work as 10 hours, does it mean it takes 10 hours to complete this task by...what? 1 person? In other words, how do you define the size of a task? Or, do you just assign say 3 people to the task and its work and duration will be calculated automatically? So you never assign the size of the task yourself but it is calculated? |
