Allocation of task in certain period of time
Please help me with this task.
Number 1 is track works which is set by date and can't be changed. Number 2 are installations. This should start a month after start of track works and should last untill the beginning of number 3. Number 3 is testing. Testing should finish at the end of track works but length of it set manually ( ex. 2, 3, 4 weeks) I would like it to work like that: I manually set dates for track works( which will be solid for the whole project) and length of testing but length of installations is calculated automatically and put between start of Number 1 +1month and start of Number 3. How to set in MS Project to work like that??? |

Installations is a successor to Track works with a Start to Start + 1 month lag.
The finish of Installations is a copy/paste link to the value in the start of Testing. Testing is linked Finish to Finish with Track works. |
