arrows not showing in certain sections of network diagram

i am using project 2007 and when i get to network diagram, arros are not displayed at some portion of the schedule. what might be the reason?

If you look at the same tasks in the Gantt chart view, do you see the links? If you right click in the background of the Network diagram and choose "Layout" if you change the link layout do they appear?
