Default Project Server 2010 custom calendars

I am using PS 2010 and have a project where we need to assign tasks to some weekends so i have created a custom calendar in the Server Settings/Enterprise Calendars section. In that calendar i have designated three weekends as working days that start from 6 am to 11 pm. But when i try to set a task to any of those weekends Project moves the task to the following Monday. Any thoughts?

Did you assign the calendar to the task in the Advanced tab of Task Information?
