Refering to photos on other pages
I'm working on a family history book that was created in Word 2002 and I am moving it to 2007. It is my plan to have it printed on line with someone like LULU. The book is about 300 pages and assume it will be 400+ when finiahed. At this time it includes a TOC and an index. I want to add some photographs at the end in a chapter by itself. Is it possible to include each photo in the index and to refer to each photo in the text of the book that shows the picture number and page number?

Hello woodfind,
yes, it is possible to put your picture in your TOC but I do not know how well the result would look like. You will have to play with that. Take your picture, select it and then apply a style that you use for your Headlines (probably Heading 1). Then, when you create TOC, this picture will be included. If you need some help on how to effectively create the table of contents, here is the link: http://www.mswordhelp.com/2010/04/wo...oft-word-2002/ I hope it helps Mike |
