Windows installer starts when any office application run. Help!
 

Every time I start an office application I see a message
"Wait until Windows installer configures parameters of Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007".
It takes 10-20 seconds to run (any) office application, after this message. I have windows vista. Have you any solution?

The setup program of office might be corrupt.
Try to repair it firstly.

Do you have two versions of Office installed on your machine? 2003 and 2007?

If you have, then you will have this happening each time you go between them - see here for a fix - Could also happen if you had 2003 and the uninstall wasn't perfect, so give it a go if that's the case, too!
