Help!PPT crashed and now music will not play across slides

Please help. I feel as though I have tried everything. The PPT program crashed - and now all powerpoints I have created will not play music across slides. Do I need to reinstall?

Try this: Go to the slide sorter, select all and copy, create a new document, paste into slide sorter of new document. Let me know how it goes
