Default auto-detect display options?

Hello -

Powerpoint defaults back to single monitor when there is an absence of dual monitor. When hooked back up to dual monitor, it does not seem to revert back, requiring us to reset the display monitor and resolution options.

We have multiple users with varying degrees of experience, so it gets confusing.

Is there an auto-detect setting we are missing, or other suggestion?
