Default Animated countdown

Hello Wasn't sure how to describe this, but I'm hosting a quiz at work and I need to create something similar to the counter on the BBC quiz show Pointless. I'm struggling to describe it, but if you skip to 1:05 on the video below you can see what I mean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zngDfoiRP3A

Maybe a clunky way of doing it, but it'll work

Make xx number of identical number boxes/shapes numbered as you like.

Then stack and align them with the higher numbers in front.

Then animate them to disappear--as one disappears, it will reveal the next one, and so on

You'll have to play around with timing, but the result should look good

Thanks Pantucci, I'll give that a go.

The bigger question for me is that I need the bar to stop when it gets to the right number of points, which I won't know ahead of time. Is there any way to easily get the animation to stop at the right point, or am I going to need a slide for every possible score (0-100)?

Wow, the only way I can figure that one is to have preset animations on a different slide for every possible score. In slideshow mode you can hit the desired slide number and ENTER to jump to that slide quickly....that's all I'm coming up with so far....

I think otherwise you're getting into Flash territory...
