Default Hyperlink default - how to make links active again

I created a presentation deck and made it a default that any link created looks like a link, but it is not active. In other words, if you type www.mysite.com, it would be underlined and a different color, but it's inactive by default so clicking on it won't take you anywhere.

I do want that default for all the hyperlinks in my deck. But there is one link I decided I want to make active and now I can't figure out how to undo the default for that one link.

How can I bypass the default I created in which the deck's links are automatically inactive so that I can make a single link active again?

For the life of me, I can't figure out now how I made the hyperlinks inactive in the first place. That would be a good starting place to figuring out how to re-activate a single link.

Thanks,
Cathleen
