Default Layers for multiple languages?

I am looking for a way to work with layers in powerpoint as I do in Indsign if there is any way.

For example, I have a presentation that I need in 3 different languages. Instead of having 3 different presentations, where I would need to make 3 corrections when a picture need to be replaced, I would like to be able to place pictures in one layer through out the presentation, and the 3 languages in 3 other layers.

This way I could toggle the languages on and of, depending on which languages I need visible.

Anyone who can help?

Hope I have explained it clearly
