Question automate selection of new source for linked objects

I have a Powerpoint Presentation that is linked to one large Excel file. There are approximately 60 links within the presentation. The presentation is distributed to a number of users along with the Excel file. The individuals update the Excel information for their customers and then they update the links in the Powerpoint. The issue is that the users do not save the documents in the same path as the original file or with the same name (despite receiving instructions). I would like to find a way to automate the presentation to have a dialogue box pop-up that would instruct them to select the source file and have all 60 links automatically use the new source Excel file. Any thoughts, suggestions, or solutions?
