Strange problem with new font

I just bought the ITC Century Standard Light Condensed Font. Does anyone know why this particular font does not work properly (at a large size) within PowerPoint?? As soon as I increase the font size to 50pt or larger the letters just write over each other and go outside the designated text box.

for anyone using powerpoint 2007 and having fint size issues there is a hotfix located at http://hotfixv4.microsoft.com/2007%20Microsoft%20Office%20System/sp2/officekb948941fullfilex86glb/12.0000.6304.5000/free/340621_intl_i386_zip.exe.

I downloaded the fix and problem solved
