![]() Hi Bryan See attached. I have embedded a spreadsheet into the first slide which means you will be able to scroll down the amendments page as you need. To populate the Amendment Page simply click inside the spreadsheet to activate it. Enter the details and then click outside it to deactivate it. Hope this helps. Tony(OTPM) |

Hi Tony,
This is interesting! I didn't know you could embed a spreadsheet within a slide show... While this does allow you to insert more info than can be shown on the slide, I don't think it's a solution for me. I have to print these documents out for the user to read so the hidden data would still be a problem for me. The only work around I can think of is making a seperate ammendments sheet, printing to pdf, print the slide show to pdf then merge them. This isn't really practical to manage though and it's something I'd like to stay away from. Bryan |

Hi Bryan
In that you could try linking two presentations together. Number 1 for the Amendments sheets. Then Number 2 for the Main slides. See this link. http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00041.htm Hope this helps. Kind regards Tony (OTPM) |

Thanks again Tony, that link is also pretty interesting but still not a solution for me
![]() The documents that I produce are converted into pdf format for a number of reasons so links to files won't work for me. I also have to print out documents. Setting the slide selection to a negative number would be ideal for me but having looked through various stuff online it doesn't appear to be possible to do this. Thanks for the help though ![]() Bryan |

Hi Bryan
Is there any particular reason why you are using PowerPoint if you have to print them to pdf. Would it not be easier if you used MS Word where you could split the document into Sections and have differing numering styles in each section. For example the first section could be the Amendments section with page numbering such as i, ii, iii, iv, v iv etc and in the section sections you would have your main document with numbering such as 1,2 3 4 5 6 7 etc. Would this resolve your issue? ![]() When I started the job I was told to use powerpoint as that was the only thing available to me at the time and I have just stuck with it ever since. To be honest it's pretty useful for what I want to do and it's far better for managing placement of pictures than work is in my opinion. I have uploaded an example which is closer to the actual documents that I create to give a better understanding. I print them to pdf to reduce file size for storage of the electronic versions available through our company server and also to ensure that they can't be edited. Bryan |

Hi Bryan
MS Word is much easier to do this. I will look at it on Monday night and get back to you with a sample. Tony (OTPM) |
