Thanks for the help with this. I gave it a good try with the directions that you gave, and sadly I have to report that it didn't work. When I paste the new image onto the slide, the shape with the text in it still goes behind the image.

I was really excited to see your reply, I was really hoping that this one was going to work. Thanks again...will just have to keep working on it for now.
